About us

# About Deco My Tree

Deco My Tree is a free Christmas tree your friends decorate with gifts and messages that open on Christmas Day; after the holidays you can make one for a birthday or Valentine’s Day too. It is made and run by Ercaap Mobile App Yazılım Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi, a mobile app company in Türkiye.

## What Deco My Tree is

- A **Christmas tree** you make in a minute and share as a link, and later in the year a **birthday or Valentine’s tree**.
- Friends **hang gifts with messages** on it from any phone or computer, without an app or an account.
- The messages stay sealed until the tree’s day, and **only the owner can read them**.
- It’s **freemium**: making a tree, sharing it and leaving messages are free; removing ads, putting your tree on the world map and other extras are paid.

## How we keep it safe

- Visitors see the tree and how many gifts it has, never the messages or who sent them.
- A word filter turns away offensive messages. Anyone can report a tree or a message, and a person on our team reviews every report, as a rule within 48 hours.
- Owners can delete any message and block a sender.
- Deco My Tree is for people aged 13 and over. Under 14 in South Korea, 15 in Türkiye and 16 in Brazil and Vietnam, a parent or guardian has to agree; see the [Terms of Use](https://decomytree.link/terms).

The [Community Guidelines](https://decomytree.link/content-policy) say what is allowed, and the [Privacy Policy](https://decomytree.link/privacy-policy) explains what we keep and for how long.
