Is there a Christmas countdown widget for Android?

It’s coming with the next update of the Deco My Tree Android app: your own Christmas tree and a live countdown to December 25 on your home screen, in four sizes.

How do I add the widget?

After the update, touch and hold an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets, scroll to the Deco My Tree icon and drag the size you like onto the screen.

Is there a Christmas countdown widget for iPhone?

Not yet: the iPhone app is coming soon. Until then, the Christmas countdown page counts down to the second in Safari.

Does the widget show my messages?

No. Your messages stay sealed until Christmas Day. The widget shows how many gifts you have, a badge for new ones and, on the large size, who left the newest.

Does it use data or battery?

Hardly any. The countdown runs on your phone, and the widget only shows what the app already has: it never goes online by itself.

Is it free?

Yes, like making your tree and sharing it.
