Widgetable is a popular widget app for iPhone and Android. People use it for virtual pets, photo widgets and widgets they share with friends and partners, with extras in a paid plan.
A Christmas widget your friends decorate
Deco My Tree’s widget shows the tree you made in the app: one of six Christmas trees, its topper and the gifts your friends hang on it, with a countdown that ticks to the second until Christmas Day.
When a friend leaves a gift, a red badge counts it, and the large size shows who left the newest. The messages themselves stay sealed until December 25, so the surprise keeps.
Free, on Android
The widget is part of the free Deco My Tree app for Android. Every size is free, and there’s nothing to unlock to see your tree and the countdown. Install the app from Google Play only: an APK from another site can be old or unsafe.
A countdown widget
The countdown is the heart of it: days, hours, minutes and seconds to your tree’s day, running on your phone. A Christmas tree counts down to December 25, a birthday tree to your birthday.
A couple widget
Make Valentine’s trees with your partner and decorate each other’s: the couple widget shows each other’s gifts and counts you both down to February 14, even from miles apart.
