- Delete your trees. Deleting the last one deletes your account too.
By email
Can’t sign in any more? Write to mytreeapplink@gmail.com from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete the account and its data within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply when it is done.
Delete only some of your data
You can also delete single things and keep your account:
- A message: in the app, open it and tap ⋮ → Delete Message; on the web, sign in on the create page and delete it from your tree.
- A sender: tap ⋮ → Block Sender on one of their messages. They can’t send to that tree again.
- A tree: in the app, Settings → My Trees → the tree → Delete Tree; on the web, delete it on the create page. It goes with all its messages. Deleting your last tree also deletes your account.
What you delete is removed from our database at once; recovery copies are gone within 30 days. You can also ask by email at mytreeapplink@gmail.com.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, password hash and sign-ins.
- Your trees, every message on them and the senders you blocked.
